The digital nomad visa (VITEM XIV) rests on one short resolution, CNIg Resolution 45/2021, but every US consulate builds its own document list on top of it, and the two lists read for this kit, Chicago and New York, do not match. This kit puts the rule and both lists side by side, so you can see what is required by law, what is consulate practice, and where your own consulate's page fills the gap.

It explains, field by field, what your own remote-work statement has to show and what to ask your employer to put in the letter, with the source for each element. You write your own documents: there are no filled-in letters, only a clear map of what each one must cover and how the pieces of your file have to agree with each other.
